Man Sentenced for Heroin Possession
The 20-year-old man was previously arrested and jailed for a vehicle burglary in Batavia.

A Naperville man who was previously arrested and served time for at least one vehicle burglary in Batavia was sentenced to jail for heroin possession.
Julian P. Pecoraro, 20, of the 500 block of Cassin Road in Naperville, was arrested June 19 after officers stopped a black, 2007 Honda Svoboda, according to the Tribune, after it ran a red light. The officer searched the car and men and found less than 15 grams of heroin.
Also arrested at the time was Samuel J. Svoboda, 23, of the 6300 block of Glenbrook Court in Lisle, and Christopher W. Mohr, 20 of the 470 block of Old Oak Drive in Lisle.

Pecoraro was sentenced to 364 days of “periodic imprisonment,” according to the Tribune, and was given credit for 122 days served. He was also given 2 ½ years of probation and ordered to pay $1,442 in fines and court costs.
Svoboda and Mohr have court dates on Dec. 2 and Dec. 17, respectively.
