Mani Geren, Grace McWayne Lunch Supervisor, Dies
Manisara "Mani" Geren passed away on June 16. She is survived by her husband, daughter and more family.

A Batavia woman who helped supervise lunches at has passed away.
Manisara "Mani" Geren died on Thursday, June 16. She was 52. Geren suffered a heart attack while rehabilitating from a stroke, according to an online message from Grace McWayne Principal Kevin Skomer.
"It is with deep sadness that I must announce the sudden passing of Mrs. Geren, a lunchroom supervisor at Grace McWayne," Skomer said. "Please keep her family in your thoughts during this difficult time."

Geren is survived by her husband Kenneth, her daughter Amy, her mother Orachorn Sarigaphuti and other family members.
Geren loved spending time with the Grace McWayne students. She often served as a listening ear to the students, according to her obituary.

Visitation for Orachon will be held at 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, June 20 at , 209 S. Batavia Ave. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 21.
