Missing Batavia Woman Found Safe
Dawn M. Peskind was reported missing Wednesday night. She has since been found, police said early Thursday.

BATAVIA, IL — A Batavia woman who was reported missing Wednesday night has been found, authorities said. Dawn M. Peskind, 57, of the 2500 block of Williams Road was reported missing at about 7:40 p.m. on Nov. 6.
Peskind was accompanied by the family dog, Duke, and was listed as missing and endangered due to her medical condition, according to a news release from the Batavia Police Department. In reporting her missing, authorities said it was believed she was lost and unable to find her way home.
Batavia police said early Thursday that Peskind had been found and is safe.
