National Night Out In Batavia: See What's Planned
The nationwide National Night Out aims to strengthen police-community relationships while promoting camaraderie among neighbors.
BATAVIA, IL — The Batavia Police Department is hosting its annual National Night Out event Aug. 4 at the Peg Bond Center.
The nationwide event, which occurs annually on the first Tuesday of August, brings together communities with the goal of strengthening relationships between residents, public safety personnel and city leaders.
The family-friendly event will feature food, activities for kids, and opportunities to meet Batavia police officers and connect with neighbors. Visitors will also get to check out police vehicles and equipment.

The Batavia event will run from 5-8 p.m. at 151 N. Island Ave.
