The Party of the Year Returns with LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago's New Year's Celebration!

Out with the old, in with the new! On Dec. 31, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago will be bursting into 2016 with the New Year's Balloon Drop

Out with the old and in with the new during LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Chicago’s kid-friendly New Year’s Celebration, on Thursday, Dec. 31. Ring in 2016 with bricktacular balloon drops at noon, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Guests can also enjoy the Center’s nine attractions, including:

  • The New Pirate Adventure Island: A LEGO pirate-themed playland encouraging children and adults alike to participate in free play and hands-on sensory activities.
  • Jungle Expedition: Explore our LEGO jungle and come face-to-face with some incredible life-size LEGO animals, including tigers, hippos and monkeys.
  • Kingdom Quest Laser Ride: Use your laser to zap skeletons, trolls and other villains and save the day. Challenge your friends for the highest score!
  • LEGO 4D Cinema: Enjoy an extra dimension of fun with 4D versions of two different LEGO movies that include special effects like wind, rain and snow.
