In-Person Job Fair For Fox Valley Teens Set For April
It'll be the first time in two years the Teen Job and Volunteer Fair at the Batavia Public Library will be held in person.
BATAVIA, IL — For the first time since 2020, the Teen Job and Volunteer Job Fair co-sponsored by the Batavia Public Library will be held in person.
The event is set to take place from 10:30 a.m. to noon April 8 at the Batavia library, 10 S. Batavia Ave.
Teens from Geneva, Batavia, North Aurora and St. Charles who are looking for seasonal jobs or volunteer work are invited to attend the job fair and meet with representatives from various organizations throughout the Fox Valley area.

The last time the event was held in person, 169 people attended, according to Mallory Manning, a young adult librarian at the Batavia Public Library.
Following the virtual fair in 2021, Manning said organizers "are excited to provide this program in person."

There is no charge to attend or participate in the job fair. Companies and organizations looking to take part in the event can reserve a table by contacting Mallory Manning, a young adult librarian, at mmanning@bataviapubliclibrary.org or 630-879-1393.
