Safe Haven Dog Rescue is in great and emergent need of foster (or FUR-ever) homes!
Please take a look at their pictures and know that there is a heart breaking story behind each of these amazing dogs. They have put that all behind them and want nothing more than to love and be loved. We are hoping you will help us by opening your home to them until the find their FUR-ever families!
While you foster, we pay all expenses from vetting, to food and we provide a crate, leash, collars, and toys. Your family provides love (something they desperately need!) and a warm place for these pups until they find their forever homes. We also require that you have the ability to take these pups to routine veterinary visits at our participating vets. These vets are located in Wheaton, Naperville, and Elmhurst. Spay/Neuters are done in North Aurora.

Allie - Allie is a Beagle mix and we guess she is about 2 years old. She came to us in early February, pregnant and emaciated. We fed her, loved her, and kept her safe and warm until she delivered. Her puppies arrived on Valentine’s Day bringing more love!
Allie is shy at first, most likely due to her past life, but she warms up quickly once she understands that you are not there to harm her. She is very loving and enjoys cuddling with you. She also loves to run and play with tennis balls, but most of all she loves to chase them!
Angie, Ava, and Aja are Allies puppies that arrived on Valentine’s Day. They are doing great and ready to find their families!
Demi - DOB 12/12/14 Demi was abandoned with all of her siblings at a high kill shelter in Alabama. She is absolutely sweet and loving! She is confident and gets along great with other dogs. She shows interest in cats, but doesn’t chase them. Demi just began housebreaking and is doing a wonderful job!
