Actress Ellie Carlson portrays Martha "Mamah" Borthwick Cheney who became Frank Lloyd Wright's lover after she and her husband commissioned Wright to design a house for them in 1903. Mamah left her husband to travel and work with Wright and to pursue her own scholarship. Their relationship was recounted in the 2007 novel, Loving Frank. Mamah, her two children, and four others were brutally murdered in 1914 at Taliesin, the Spring Green, WI, home Wright built for her. This Sundays on Stage program is free of charge.
