On September 1, 2016, at approximately 6:40 a.m. (shortly before school bus pick up starts), a 4-door white Nissan Altima (model year ’07-’12 - or similar vehicle) with very dark (limo-style) tinted windows and a smashed passenger-side windshield was very slowly circling the Batavia Highlands, a small neighborhood of approximately ¼ square mile at the southeast corner of Route 25 and Fabyan Pkwy. Both front and rear license plates had been removed from the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle stalked 2 separate female residents, one walking her dog and the other out alone taking a morning walk, in different areas of the neighborhood. He passed by each woman numerous times at an extremely slow rate of speed. Each of the women called the Batavia police, who responded quickly; however, the vehicle managed to escape the neighborhood without being seen by police. The vehicle was last seen headed south on Surrey.
Please be on the look out for this vehicle. If anyone has seen this distinctive vehicle or knows its current whereabouts, please comment here or contact the Batavia Police immediately to report it.
