Songwriting Workshop, June 25

A songwriting workshop featuring professional musician Scott Tipping will be presented from 1 to 3 p.m., June 25, at Batavia Public Library, 10 S. Batavia Ave. Tipping will explain his songwriting methods during first hour and then perform during the second hour. There are four more songwriting workshops scheduled during the summer months. Two will be held at the Aurora Public Library West Branch (July 9 & August 13); and two will be held at the Batavia Public Library (July 23 & August 12). The workshops feature different professional songwriters. The workshops are held in collaboration between the two libraries and the Fox Valley Music Foundation. Registration is not required.
