Speak English? Make A Real Difference

Know English? Yes? Then you can teach English to one of 40 adults who are now waiting for someone to tutor them in English. In the process, you will change that person’s life forever and experience the happy feeling that comes with helping the life of another human being.

If you are willing to tutor one hour per week in the cities of Geneva, Batavia, St. Charles or Elburn, Literacy Volunteers Fox Valley will prepare you, match you with an appropriate adult student, and provide the support that you need along the way. You don’t need teaching experience or a second language.

The next four-session tutor training workshop will be held from 6:30pm to 9:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, September 9, 11, 16, and 18 at the St. Charles Public Library. To register for more information, visit www.lvfv.org/events/trainingschedule.
