Teen Follows, Tries To Touch Girl, 11, In Batavia: Cops
Police say the teen followed the young girl from a local park and tried to touch her inappropriately.

BATAVIA, IL — Batavia police are asking the public for help locating a male teen who allegedly followed an 11-year-old girl, commented on the way she looked, and asked to touch her inappropriately Wednesday morning. The girl was walking from Engstrom Park when a boy, 16 or 17 years old, approached her, police say.
According to police, the girl was near the intersection of Morton St. and Millview Dr. around 10 a.m. when the incident took place. The victim told police she feared for her safety and fled home to tell her parents what had happened.
The suspect was described as a white male between 16 and 17 years old with shaggy brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black Batavia Bulldogs t-shirt and yellow shorts, according to police.
