Teen Pedestrian Hit By Car In Batavia: Cops

Police say the boy, believed to be 15, was rushed to a hospital in Geneva.

BATAVIA, IL — A teen pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Batavia early Wednesday. Police say the incident took place in the 1100 block of W. Wilson St. just after 7:15 a.m. as the teen attempted to cross the street.

According to police, the teen was crossing W. Wilson when he was struck by a 2011 Nissan Rogue. The driver of the Rogue, a 29-year-old Elburn resident, was not injured.

Emergency responders rushed the victim, believed to be around 15 years old, to Delnor Hospital in Geneva.

Police have not released information about the victim's condition and say the investigation is ongoing.
