Batavia High School will have its annual homecoming parade on West Wilson Street in the downtown area business district on Wednesday afternoon. This will result in traffic being detoured on Route 25 and East Wilson Street with temporary road closures of the Wilson Street Bridge and Route 31 (South Batavia Avenue at West Wilson Street). This event will have a significant impact on vehicle traffic on all roads that intersect the parade route, according to the news release.

Parade units will begin staging between 4 and 4:45 p.m. on N. River Street at Spring Street. The parade will start at 5 p.m. and proceed south on North River Street to Wilson Street, then west on Wilson Street to the end point at Batavia High School, according to the news release.
All vehicle traffic needing to get to the west side of Batavia from Route 25 and the East Wilson Street area will need to detour to Fabyan Parkway or head south and cross the river at Route 56 in North Aurora.
