Tuition-Free Preschool Lottery Registration Underway

Parents of Pre-K kids who live within the Batavia School District are eligible to enter into the lottery for the tuition-free preschool.

BATAVIA, IL - From Batavia Public School District 101: Families with children who will be turning three and four years old by Sept. 1, 2018, and who currently reside in the boundaries of Batavia Public School District 101 are eligible to participate in a lottery system for tuition-free community spots at the BPS101 Preschool for the 2018-19 school year.

To register for the 2018-19 lottery, parents need to complete the Letter of Intent posted at BPS101.net and return it to the BPS101 Preschool at the Early Childhood Center (located in Alice Gustafson Elementary School) by Jan. 30, 2018.

“We’re now heading into our third year of a tuition-free program,” said Dr. Brad Newkirk, BPS101’s Chief Academic Officer. “Lifting the financial barrier opens the door to preschool to a broader range of students, which represents the economic diversity of our District.”
