Utility Billing Offices Closed Until Nov. 6
An employee recently tested positive for COVID-19 Oct. 22.
Utility Billing will be closed for in person payments through November 6th due to an employee recently testing positive for COVID-19 on October 22. Please watch for updates on when the office will reopen and stay informed by subscribing to our weekly e-newsletter.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Payments may be dropped off in the drop box at 433 E Wilson Street on the east side, the drop box in the north parking lot at City Hall, or in the drop box inside the Police Department entrance at City Hall.

Payment posting to your account may be delayed during this closure. No penalties will be applied to accounts and no shutoffs will be made during this time. Because there is limited staff, phone calls will be returned in the order received. It may take 1-2 days for a call to be returned.
If you need assistance with your bill amount, please call 630-454-2020 and leave a message and someone will return your call.

If you are moving in or moving out, please also call and leave a message with your name, phone number and date you plan to move in or out so that the calls can be prioritized. If you need to talk with someone immediately, please call 630-454-2000 and let them know what you need so that they can direct you to the right person. Unfortunately, during this time you may not be able to reach someone immediately but we will do our best to get back to everyone as soon as possible. If you lose power, please contact the electric department directly at 630-454-2350 during normal business hours or the police department non-emergency line 630-454-2500 after hours.
If you need garbage sticker information, click here. There are multiple locations for sticker purchase. You can also call Advanced Disposal directly at 630-587-8282 to order stickers or half bags by mail; payment is by credit/debit card only.
Please allow at least five days for mailing. Half bags are only available at City Hall and through Advanced Disposal. If you are unable to get them in time from Advanced Disposal, you may purchase them at the Police Department while the Utility Billing Office is closed. You will need to pay with exact change or a check. A roll of bags is $21.00. No other stickers will be sold at City Hall (or Police Department) while the department is closed.
