Water Main Replacement Will Reduce Driving Lanes For 2 Weeks

BATAVIA, IL — The intersection of South River Street and East Wilson Street in Batavia is undergoing an emergency water main replacement starting Monday, officials said, but it won't majorly impact traffic.

The construction projects is anticipated to end Nov. 5. In the meantime, there will be minimal lane closures, and lanes will be reduced between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. when work is being complete.
