Waterline Writers is back and we’re so excited! Waterline Writers is hosting a live literature event on Sunday, October 19th, at 7 PM. The event will be held at Water Street Studios, 160 S. Water St, Batavia, IL. Suggested donation: $5 – proceeds to the main event authors. This month we will feature: Kane County Chronicle’s Jennifer DuBose kicking off our first Use Your Words! segment, the poetry of Dolores Becker and Angela Ogburn, a sample of Donald J. Bingle’s writers’ group thriller The Frame Shop, a glimpse behind Gerry Souter’s historical novel The Full Frontal Triptych, and a short film from Bruce Steinberg’s The Widow’s Son, starring Erika Denker, produced by Randy Martin and Danute Dockuviene. Following the main event, we will hold an open mic (5 minute reading limit).

Waterline Writers is a monthly event for writers and those who love the written word. Each event is a unique opportunity to hear diverse, talented writers reading original published and not-yet-published work. If you are a writer, it’s the place to share your very best with an enthusiastic audience in the main art gallery at Water Street Studios, 160 S. Water St. Batavia. Send submissions for our main reading event to waterlinewriters@gmail.com or read at our 5-minute Open Mics following each event! We meet on 3rd Sundays at 7 PM from September through May. We suggest a $5 donation – proceeds to the main event authors. For more information, visit our website: http://waterlinewriters.org.
