Woman Arrested at Batavia Massage Parlor for Prostitution
This is the second prostitution arrest in less than a year at Gem Spa in Batavia.

A 35-year-old Chicago woman has been charged with prostitution after she offered to perform a sexual act on an undercover cop at a Batavia massage parlor, according to authorities.
Jue Xiang, of 247 W. 22nd Place in Chicago, has been released from custody after posting her $150,000 bond following her arrest on Thursday, according to a news release from the Batavia Police Department. She is charged with one count of prostitution and one count of practicing massage therapy without a state license.
Xiang was arrested during a compliance check Batavia investigators conducted at Gem Spa, 330 E. Wilson St. in Batavia, on Dec. 1, according to police. At about 5:31 p.m., an undercover investigator entered the spa and requested a massage. During the massage, Xiang allegedly offered to perform a sexual act for additional money. The investigator immediately stopped the massage and notified other investigators, police said.

This is the second prostitution arrest at Gem Spa within the past seven months.
On May 12, 2016, investigators performed a compliance check at Gem Spa that resulted in a similar arrest. Gem Spa employee, Tong Liu, 22, of Chicago, was charged with one count of prostitution, which is a Class A misdemeanor, during the May incident.
