16th Annual Beverly Hills Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk Set For Saturday
There's still time to register for the Beverly Hills Turkey Trot and Family Walk 5K thru historic North Beverly set for Saturday, Nov. 30.
CHICAGO — The 16th Annual Beverly Hills Turkey Trot 5K Run & Family Walk presented by CIBC gets underway Saturday, Nov. 30. This year's race proceeds will again benefit the John McNicholas Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and the 19th Ward Youth and Community Foundation.
There’s still time to register for the 5K family run and walk. Online registration will remain open until 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28. All participants who register before race day will be guaranteed a Beverly Hills Turkey Trot long-sleeved event t-shirt and a goodie bag. Registration is now available at 19th Ward Beverly Hills Turkey Trot.
Registration fees for the chip-timed 5K run for adults (age 20 and up) are $35; 5K Run-Youth (age 19 and under); and 5K Walk for individuals is $30. All three events start at 9 a.m.

Walk-up registration will be available onsite on race day. The race starts and ends at 92nd Street and Hamilton Ave., Chicago. The 5K Run is chip-timed on a CARA-certified 5K course while the family walk is untimed. Runners will be divided by age and gender, according to CARA-recommended guidelines, with awards given to each age group.
The 19th Ward Youth & Community Foundation and the Original Pancake House (Beverly) will host a pancake breakfast after the race. The cost is $5 per person or $25 per family. Tickets can be added to your cart separately during registration or online until 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28. Tickets will also be available at the door. Breakfast will be served in the gym at Christ the King School, 9240 S. Hamilton Ave. Breakfast includes coffee, orange juice, and pancakes.
