19th Ward Plans Blood Drive Saturday At New Beverly Blood Center

CHICAGO — The 19th Ward Youth and Community Foundation will be hosting a blood drive this Saturday, Oct. 5, at the new Community Blood Center, 9920 S. Western Ave. Appointments are required from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The new donor center is partnering with the 19th Ward and surrounding communities to meet the needs of local hospitals, so blood donations will directly benefit patients in the area.
