2 Rob Man At Gunpoint In Beverly
A man was robbed at gunpoint Monday night while walking near 96th and Leavitt in Beverly.
CHICAGO — A man who was walking alone in the 2200 block of West 96th Street near 96th and Leavitt in Beverly was robbed at gunpoint Monday night. Chicago police in the 22nd District said two men who robbed the man fled down the alley after taking multiple items from the victim.
Police said that one of the men had a gun on him and showed it to the victim after coming up to him from behind while the other took the items from him around 7:25 p.m.
Both men who robbed the man are black and believed to be between 17 and 20 years old. They were both described as about 5'9" and 170 pounds. One of them was wearing a black and gold Pelle Pelle jacket and dark jeans while the other was in a black hooded jacket and dark jeans.
