2023 Football Schedule Released For Marist High School

CHICAGO — With a little less than four weeks until the first high school football practices begin in Illinois on Aug. 7, the countdown to the fall season is officially underway. A nine-game regular season runs through the end of October, before the postseason culminates with state championship games scheduled for the weekend of Nov. 24-25 at Illinois State University.

The Illinois High School Association, in partnership with Max Preps, recently announced schedules for the varsity teams. In the Southland, fans will especially be keeping tabs on the local teams at Marist High School.

This fall, the RedHawks will be joined in the Chicago Catholic League-Blue by Brother Rice (Chicago), St. Rita (Chicago), Chicago Mt. Carmel and Loyola Academy (Wilmette).

Locally, the regular season begins on the Road, when the Marist RedHawks face off against the Loyola Ramblers Saturday, Aug. 26. Kickoff is at 1:30 p.m.
