22nd District Council Meets Wednesday At Morgan Park High School

CHICAGO — Residents and businesses are invited to the 22nd Chicago Police District Council meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 10. The meeting will start at 6 p.m. in the student union at Morgan Park High School, 1744 W. Pryor Ave.

Council members include chair Patrick Kennedy, Lee Bielecki, nomination committee, and Carisa Parker, community engagement coordinator.

The council holds meetings on the second Wednesday of every month. Residents are strongly encouraged to attend. The locations vary to accommodate the many neighborhoods of the 22nd District from Washington Heights to Mount Greenwood.

Residents who wish to make a public comment should write their name on a card provided at the meeting and give it to the district council or staff in the meeting room within 30 minutes of the start of the meeting. Twenty minutes will be dedicated to public comments; speakers will be limited to two minutes. If the number of interested speakers exceeds the time dedicated to public comments exceeds the 20-minute time slot, speakers will be randomly drawn via a lotto.
