22nd District Crackdown Nets 2 DUI Arrests, Dozens Of Citations

Chicago police were busy in the 22nd District on the night of April 5.

CHICAGO - The Chicago Police Department was busy in the 22nd District last weekend, handing out dozens of citations and making two driving under the influence arrests during a "DUI Saturation Patrol" held in the district, which covers the Beverly, Mount Greenwood and Morgan Park neighborhoods on the Far South Side, on the night of April 5.

The police department often sends out officers in a general area looking for drunk drivers. In addition to the two DUI arrests, the crackdown in the 22nd District held from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. that night resulted in a number of tickets as well.
