3 Vehicles Carjacked At Midpointe Apartments: Cops

Chicago police said the owners vehicles were taken at gunpoint when they were parking and cleaning them.

CHICAGO — Chicago police are alerting Mount Greenwood residents of three aggravated carjackings that happened this month.

The carjackings happened at the Midpoint Apartments in the 4500 block of 115th Street. Police said the carjackers were armed and approached the owners as they were cleaning or parking their vehicles. The vehicle owners turned over their cars at gunpoint and the carjackers fled, according to the alert.
