59 Arrests For 28-Year Old Who Entered Car: Cops
22nd District police say the man charged with entering cars at 93rd and Longwood has been arrested 59 times.

CHICAGO, IL - A man who police say was caught entering cars in the North Beverly neighborhood early Monday morning was arrested for the 59th time. 22nd District police made the statement on social media about the 28-year-old suspect who they say is a convicted burglar.
The Chicago Police Department's Office of News Affairs said the name of the suspect is Artaveis Bowens, although they could not confirm that he's been arrested 59 times. Bowens was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespass to vehicle at 3:28 a.m. in the 9300 block of South Longwood Drive.
The 22nd District account indicates a man was seen entering cars on that block by residents of the neighborhood at 3:28 a.m.

News Affairs said Bowens was "positively identified as the person who entered a black colored SUV without proper authority."
A man with the same name and age was listed in a 2011 Evergreen Park Patch police blotter item as being charged with felony burglary and theft near 94th and Western.
