95th Street Farmers Market Returns For Another Vibrant Season

The 95th Street Farmers Market will be open every Sunday, rain or shine, through the end of October featuring community farms and artisans.

CHICAGO—The 95th Street Farmers Market is back for another vibrant season, bringing fresh produce, local food vendors, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities to the heart of Beverly/Morgan Park. The farmers market continues every Sunday through the end of October.

Held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the city-owned Metra commuter lot at 1835 W. 95th Street, the market has become a weekly destination for neighbors looking to shop local, connect with the community and enjoy a relaxing Sunday morning.

June offers plenty of reasons to visit. Live music takes place weekly from 10 a.m. to noon. Local favorite Cathy Sorich will be around for facepainting June 14 and June 28, with local favorite Cathy Sorich on June 14 and June 28. Children and families can enjoy activities throughout the month, including crafts, nail painting, and interactive art-inspired programming connected to the Art Institute of Chicago’s William de Kooning exhibit.

Community organizations will also be featured throughout the month. June partners include the Beverly Arts Center, Meals on Wheels, the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office and Michele E. Walker, financial professional with New York Life. Additional community tents and activities will continue throughout the summer.

The market continues to expand its food offerings with a rotating lineup of hot food vendors alongside returning farmers and specialty vendors. June guests include Windy City Burger Social Club, Tilly Bagel Shop, Zeitlin’s Delicatessen, and Sera Dining LLC, offering everything from burgers and bagels to deli favorites and Roman-style pizza.

The 95th Street Farmers Market is presented by the 95th Street Business Association and supported by local sponsors, led by Beverly Bank and Blue Door Neighborhood Center, along with many other businesses and community supporters.

Whether visitors are shopping for fresh ingredients, grabbing breakfast or lunch, listening to music or simply enjoying the atmosphere, the market continues to offer something for everyone.
