COOK COUNTY — Under a new General Administrative Order, all "Stalking No Contact Order" petitions filed within the City of Chicago will be filed at the Daley Center starting Monday, Sept. 21.
"Starting Monday, anyone filing a Stalking No Contact Order in Chicago will need to do so at the Daley Center," said Maryann Spyropoulos, clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County. "We have identified a new space on the concourse level that will be used exclusively for Stalking No Contact Order matters."
The courthouse located at 555 W. Harrison will no longer accept Stalking No Contact Order petitions. Any pending or follow-up hearings will also be assigned to the Daley Center.
The Chicago Stalking No Contact Order Office will open on Monday, Sept, 21, on the concourse level of the Daley Center, 50 W. Washington, in Room CL24. The office will be staffed Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For additional information, please call (312) 603-1250.
