Applications Open For 2024 South Side Irish Parade Queen
It's good to be the queen. Applications are now open for the 2024 South Side Irish Parade Queen through Feb. 27.

CHICAGO — The search is on for the 2024 Queen of the South Side Irish Parade. Applications are now open for candidates hoping to serve as the annual celebration’s queen. The contest is open to any young woman of Irish ancestry between the ages of 21 and 30. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, Feb. 27.
The future Queen must be available, in person, on Saturday, March 2, for the South Side Irish Parade Queen interview and announcement. This will take place at 115 Bourbon Street, 3359 W. 115th St., Merrionette Park, during the South Side Irish Parade fundraiser.
The queen is expected to represent the annual South Side Irish Parade, which will be held on Sunday, March 17, and is also expected to attend sponsored events and charitable community outings.

The application is online. Candidates will be asked such questions as why she wants to be queen, favorite charity, and her favorite South Side Irish Parade memory, to name a few. Apply here and tell your family and friends.
