Bandit Wearing Nice Jacket Hits Morgan Park Bank: FBI

CHICAGO, IL -- A man with a hole cut in the top of his knit hat robbed a Morgan Park bank on Monday morning, the FBI said.
Employees told police that a man with a large build entered the US Bank branch at 11150 S. Western Ave., Chicago, around 10:30 a.m.

The man got away with an undisclosed amount of money in what is being described as a non-takeover robbery, the FBI said.
The suspect is black, around six feet tall and weighs between 250 and 350 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black Carhartt jacket, dark pants and a black knit cap with a large hole cut from its top.

Bank employees said the man was bald.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the FBI’s Chicago office at 312-421-6700.
