CHICAGO — The US Bank location in Chicago's Mount Greenwood neighborhood was robbed a little before noon on Tuesday, and the FBI says the bandit is the same man who robbed another US Bank location in near west suburban Berwyn just two weeks ago. A handgun was used in Tuesday's robbery, according to the FBI.

It's not known how much money was taken from the bank located at 11159 S. Kedzie Ave. when the bandit fled around 11:47 a.m., but the FBI has described the suspect at a 6'0" black man with a medium build, light complexion and appearing to be in his 20's or 30's. He was wearing a black hat, white hooded sweatshirt and gold-rimmed sunglasses.

The other bank robbery the man is suspected of pulling off was reported at the US Bank at 6201 Cermak Road in Berwyn at 9:39 a.m. on Sept. 25. Additional images from Tuesday's robbery and the one in Berwyn have been made available here by the FBI.
