CHICAGO — Neighbors are invited to the Smith Village Farmers Market featuring a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as baked goods this Friday, July 19. The farmers market runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine, on the Smith Village green along 112th Place just east of Western Avenue, Chicago.

Peruse an array of local delights including executive chef Michelle Sandifer selling fresh bread, baked goods and specialty butters. Midwest Foods will offer a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Visit the Smith Village Flowers-by-the-Stem Market to build your own beautiful bouquet. Proceeds will benefit Emilie’s Fund, a program that ensures Smith Village residents will never be asked to leave their home. Enjoy the music of saxophonist Gerald Holden from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
