Best Neighborhood Event Of The Year? Nominate Your Favorite
We're looking to make a Twitter poll bracket-style tournament to find the best event of the year in Beverly-Mt. Greenwood-Morgan Park.

CHICAGO — Since our "best pizza in the neighborhood" Twitter poll was so popular last October, I've decided to continue the theme to find other "bests" in our Beverly-Mt. Greenwood-Morgan Park neighborhood. The high number of popular local events in the month of May (Beverly Breast Cancer Walk, BAPA Home Tour, Ridge Run, etc.) makes this a good time to see what neighborhood residents consider their favorite yearly event.
For this game, we are only considering events that occur on a yearly basis in the 19th Ward boundaries. The submissions to be included in the poll must have occurred in at least three consecutive years (2017, 2018, 2019) or (2016, 2017, 2018 and a planned 2019 event). It can't be something that happened once or a general description of events that happen on random occasions.
We'll do either an 8-event or 16-event bracket depending on the number of suggestions that fit the bill.

This could be fun. The pizza one sure was, even though my personal local favorite, Tata's, did not make it to the final round. Barraco's won and Fox's was the runner-up.

Future poll possibilities I'm thinking of could be for the most unique feature of the neighborhood, best coffee, best sandwich and most beloved business. We'll also do the pizza one again this October and this time include places outside ward boundaries.
