Beverly Hills Turkey Trot And Family Walk 5K Set For Saturday

CHICAGO — There’s still time to register for the 15th annual Beverly Hills Turkey Trot and Family Walk 5K presented by CIBC. The race takes place this Saturday, Nov. 25.

Online registration will remain open until 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 24th. All participants who register before race day will be guaranteed a Beverly Hills Turkey Trot long-sleeved event t-shirt and a goodie bag. Registration is now available at 19th Ward Beverly Hills Turkey Trot.

There will be in-person registration available at packet pick-up and payments accepted will be cash or check. Registration is available at the packet pick-up dates and locations below:

• Friday, Nov. 24: 1 to 7 p.m. at Running Excels, 10328 S. Western Ave.
• Saturday, Nov. 25: 7 to 9 a.m., 9225 S. Hamilton Ave., race-day registration

Walk or run the tree-lined streets of the 19th Ward’s historic North Beverly neighborhood. The race kicks off at 9 s.m. at 9201 S. Hamilton Avenue. More than 2,000 participants are expected to take part in the race which has been an annual Thanksgiving weekend tradition for families for over a decade. Runners and walkers of all ages and skill levels are invited to join this fun event and burn off some Thanksgiving calories.

In addition, the 19th Ward and the Original Pancake House-Beverly will host a pancake breakfast after the race. The cost is $5 per person or $25 per family and tickets can be added to your cart during registration or online separately until 10:00am on Friday, November 24th, and at the door. Breakfast will be in the gym at Christ the King School. Breakfast includes coffee, orange juice, and pancakes.
