Beverly-Mt. Greenwood Restaurants Open Thanksgiving: Here's The List
Several restaurants and fast-food spots are open for the holiday for residents who don't feel like making a Thanksgiving feast at home.
CHICAGO — Are you still undecided about what to do on Thanksgiving? Don’t feel up to prepping, cleaning or getting up at 6 a.m. to pop a turkey in the oven?
For those who want to skip the fuss, several restaurants open Thanksgiving Day in the Beverly. Mt. Greenwood and Morgan Park area will cook turkey dinner — or something else entirely.
Restaurants open for Thanksgiving on Thursday, Nov. 24, offer a range of dining experiences, from fine dining to fast casual to fast food. In some cases, you’ll need to make a reservation, so plan ahead as much as possible.
As always, Patch encourages you to call any restaurant on this list in advance to double-check hours on Thanksgiving Day, as many vary by location. Here are the local restaurants that plan to be open. Don’t forget to tip your server.

Barraco’s, 3701 W. 95th St., Evergreen Park. Has a Thanksgiving dinner package starting at $150, including a 10-12 pound turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, a dozen rolls, cranberries and pie. Barraco’s will also be open for dining-in. Order catered packages asap. Reservations required for dining in, call 708-424-8182. Please note that all other Baracco’s locations will be closed on Thanksgiving.
Barrel Club, 4910 W. 111th St., Oak Lawn. Ready-to-eat turkey dinner packages, including turkey, $20 per pound, ham, $16 per pound, and blackened salmon, $22 per pound, plus sides for an additional cost. Cold pick-up from 3:30 to 8 p.m. Nov. 23. Order by 5 p.m. Nov. 20. No dining in.

Beatrix, 671 N. St. Clair St., Chicago (Streeterville). Lettuce Entertain You-Beatrix locations, including Streeterville, is offering a Thanksgiving dinner to-go package with all the trimmings, including such favorites as herb roasted turkey breast, mashed potatoes, holiday green beans, traditional stuffing and gravy, Parker House rolls and house made Cranberry sauce for around $180. The Thanksgiving dinner to-go serves 4 to 6 guests and is served cold with reheating instructions. Add a la carte sides serve 4 to 6. Orders must be placed by noon Saturday, Nov. 19 for carryout and delivery on Wednesday, Nov. 23, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Order online or call 312=284-1377.
Chicago Firehouse Restaurant, 1401 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago (South Loop) – This Birdgeport eatery is offering dine-in or pre-order a Thanksgiving dinner for $65 for adults by noon Saturday, Nov. 19; pickup Thanksgiving, Nov. 24, between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The restaurant is also open for dining from 11:30 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. Order or make a reservation online, or call 312-786-1401.
Chuck’s Southern Comfort Cafe, 6501S. 79th St., Burbank. Chuck’s is offering an all-you-can-eat Thanksgiving buffet from noon to 4 p.m., Nov. 24. $30 per adult, $15 kids 4-12; children under 3 are free. Reservations required, 708-229-8700.
Cooper’s Hawk, 4830 W 111th St, Oak Lawn – Chef Matt McMillin has planned an amazing "heat & serve" package for you, with all the delicious flavors and trimmings for your Thanksgiving table. Don't forget to pick up your November Wine of the Month too - Grateful Red and/or Grateful White - that will pair perfectly with Thanksgiving – for $199.99. Order today because these packages are selling out fast. Cooper’s Hawk locations are also offering dining in on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 24), adults $33.99, kids 12 and under, $14.99. The Duck Inn, 7701 S. Eleanor St., Chicago (Bridgeport). Enjoy a turkey or duck dinner with all the trimmings at home. Dinners generously feed a family of four, turkey $225 or duck $250. Order for delivery or pick-up by Nov. 23 via Tock.
Francesca's Vicianato, 12960 S. LaGrange Rd., Palos Park. (Catering deals run between $89.95 and $169.95). Orders must be placed by noon, Nov. 21, and picked up Nov. 24 (Thanksgiving) between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Dining in will also be available during the same hours. Francesca’s on 95th, 6248 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn. Catering deals run between $89.95 and $169.95. Orders must be placed noon, Nov. 21,and picked up Nov. 24 (Thanksgiving) between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Dining in will also be available during the same hours. Harvest Room, 7164 W. 127th St., Palos Heights. Harvest Room will be serving Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Reservations are REQUIRED, 708- 671-8905.
Jenny’s Steak House and Pub, 11041 S. Menard Ave., Chicago Ridge. Jennys’s is serving catered feasts for 6 to 8 people for pick-up, as well as dining-in, including a family-style option for families/parties of 6 or more, adults $34, under 12, $16. Jedi’s Garden, 9266 S. Cicero Ave., Oak Lawn. Jedi’s Garden will be serving turkey (and other entrees) all day Thanksgiving – until the turkey runs out. You can also order carryout.
