Body Found In Car At 105th And Walden Parkway

CHICAGO, IL - A 50-year-old man was found dead inside a car parked in the 10500 block of South Walden Parkway in the city's Beverly neighborhood Monday morning. Chicago police say the man was in a green BMW when found at 11:10 a.m. and was later pronounced at the scene.

A death investigation has begun by Area South detectives, according to police. The man has not been identified.

The cause or manner of death weren't determined by the end of the day on Monday. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed on Tuesday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

Reports from individuals on social media indicate a heavy police presence with several squad cars responded to the scene just after the body was found.
