Brother Rice Beats Marist In IHSA Football Semifinals
The Crusaders are headed to the IHSA Class 8A Football championship game after defeating their arch-rivals on the road.

CHICAGO - The Brother Rice Crusaders won the IHSA Class 8A football semifinal game Saturday afternoon with a 14-3 victory on the road against Marist High School, their arch-rivals from two miles down the road.
The stakes had never been higher in the "Pulaski Road Super Bowl," as the Crusaders are now 13-0 on the year and will play Loyola Academy in the state championship game next weekend. Loyola pulled off an upset win at home against top-rated Lincoln-Way East in the other Class 8A semifinal game on Saturday.
Against Marist on Saturday, Brother Rice jumped out to a 7-0 lead before giving up a field goal before halftime. They scored a touchdown in the second half and shutdown the RedHawks in the process.
