Buona Beef Set for Tuesday Opening in Beverly
Beverly is iconic Italian beef chain's first location in Chicago.

The long-awaited Buona The Original Italian Beef Restaurant will officially open in Beverly at 10633 S. Western Ave. at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 22.
The 4,000-square-foot restaurant is the first in Chicago and represents a $4 million investment in the neighborhood by the Buonavolanto family.
Buona is famous for its pan-roasted lean Italian beef. The recipe was created by founder Joe Buonavolanto’s wife, Peggy, with some coaching by uncle “Junior,” proprietor of the iconic Mr. Beef.

In addition to Italian beef, Buona’s menu includes charbroiled Italian sausage sandwiches, burgers and hotdogs, soup and salads, and sandwiches and panini.
Buona Beef hours are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
