Chicago Police and Fire Battle It Out for Vets in Charity Hockey Game
Chicago Police and Fire teams play for Salute Inc. this Sunday, Jan. 22, at the Morgan Park Sports Complex.

CHICAGO, IL -- The Chicago Police Stars battle Chicago Fire Hockey this Sunday, Jan. 22, at the Morgan Park Sports Complex.
Both teams will be playing for Salute Inc., an organization that delivers short-term financial assistance to bridge the temporary income gaps and meet the basic needs of post 9/11 military veterans. All proceeds will be going to Salute.
The Chicago Police Stars is the official team of the Fraternal Order of Police, comprised of Chicago’s finest. Select members from each of FOP’s four hockey teams will compete against Chicago Fire Hockey in Sunday’s game.

Trash talk on the Chicago Police Stars’ Facebook page has the “hose draggers” coming out on top in Sunday’s matchup.
Puck drop is at 6:30 p.m. The game goes until 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door for adults; children under 16 are free, so get out of the house and bring the family.
