'Clean And Green' Beverly And Morgan Park This Saturday

CHICAGO — Join the Beverly Area Planning Association and help clean up a park, rain station or public space near you Saturday, April 27, during the community-wide spring clean-up day, which gets going at 9 a.m.

Get a group together or join one and pick a location. BAPA will provide rakes, brooks and garbage bags. Registered volunteers will get a “BAPA Love Where You Live Volunteer” T-shirt. Students can earn service hours.

If you haven’t done so already, let BAPA know which location you will be cleaning by registering at BAPA.

Stop by Friday, April 26, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at BAPA, 1744 W. 99th St., and pick up rakes, trash bags, and $5 litter grabbers.

While you’re out there working with your crew on Saturday, take some pictures and email them to bapa@bapa.org.
