CPD and CFD Hockey Teams To Play Charity Hockey Game For Danny Golden
Chicago police and fire hockey teams will face off in a charity hockey game for Danny Golden, Feb. 25 at the Morgan Park Sports Center.
CHICAGO — Chicago’s finest will take on Chicago’s bravest in a charity hockey game for Officer Danny Golden, who was left paralyzed in a shooting while trying to break up a bar fight.
The Chicago police and fire hockey teams will hit the ice Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Morgan Park Sports Center, 11505 S. Western Ave., Chicago. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with the puck drop at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $10 and all proceeds will go toward Golden’s medical and rehabilitative care. The hockey game is being sponsored by Ald. Matt O’Shea (19th), Sen. Bill Cunningham (18th), Rep. Fran Hurley (35th), the 19th Ward Youth Foundation and the Morgan Park Sports Center.
