Football Schedule: See Who The Morgan Park Mustangs Face This Fall

CHICAGO — High school football is back in Illinois this fall. Following a season that was postponed in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and moved to the spring of 2021, the Illinois High School Association, in partnership with Max Preps, recently announced schedules for the varsity teams.

High school football is back in Illinois this fall. Following a season that was postponed in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and moved to the spring of 2021, the Illinois High School Association, in partnership with Max Preps, recently announced schedules for the varsity teams.

The regular season begins Friday, Aug. 26, with the IHSA state championship games (1A, 2A, 3A and 4A) scheduled for Friday, Nov. 25, at University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. For 5A, 6A, 7A and 8A, championship games will be held Saturday, Nov. 25, at University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.

Locally, Morgan Park High School’s regular season begins Friday, Aug. 26, when the Morgan Park Mustangs entertain Richards High School at home. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
