Free Workouts Offered In Beverly This Weekend
Smoothies will be offered to those who workout at free events sponsored by Treadfit and Fit Code this weekend.
CHICAGO, IL -- Two free activities will be held this weekend in the city's Beverly neighborhood to promote health and fitness. Treadfit will sponsor a strength training class on Friday morning and Fit Code will do the same on Sunday morning, 19th Ward Ald. Matt O'Shea noted in a newsletter to constituents on Thursday.
The Treadfit class will begin at 9 a.m. Friday at Beverly Park, 2460 W. 102nd St. Post-workout smoothies will be provided courtesy of the Beverly Area Planning Association and Southtown Health Foods. Participants are asked to bring a yoga mat.

Sunday's Fit Code event, billed as a "metabolic core conditioning" class, will begin at 9 a.m. at Prospect Park, 10940 S. Prospect. BAPA and Southtown will provide free smoothies after this workout as well.
O'Shea the 19th Ward is hosting and promoting a series of free activities and events designed to promote health and wellness during June.
