Chicago police say Michael Urban, 33, of the 5800 block of W. Division St. was arrested Tuesday morning when he returned a stolen car owned by a 73-year-old man in the 10600 block of South Ridgeway Avenue.

The 73-year-old victim told police that Urban came into his home between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Aug. 3 and took the keys to the car before stealing the car and other items from his garage.

Police also connected Urban to a garage burglary reported on Aug. 4 nearby in the 10500 block of South Albany Avenue. There, police say that at 3:30 a.m. surveillance footage shows Urban "forcibly" entering a garage and taking items from inside.
