Hockey Camps Offered For Squirts, Peewees And Bantams At LoVerde

CHICAGO — LoVerde Hockey School will offer four-day summer hockey camps for squirts, peewees and bantams at the Morgan Park Sports Center, 11505 S. Western Ave., Chicago. The camps are open to athletes ages 10U to 14U.

The camps include one hour of on-ice training and 40 minutes of off-ice training by GVN Performance. Featured guests include TJ Tynan, Michael Mersch, Jeremy Morin and others. Camps run from 3:10 to 6:20 p.m. June 26 through June 29. Each age group will have its own special time slot.

Featured guests will include Michael Mersch, Jeremy Morin, TJ Tynan and others. Along with our featured guests, players will be introduced to off-ice training with GVN Performance. GVN is a leader in sports performance and currently works with USA Hockey National Team Development Program and players from the top pro level down to youth hockey.

Each age group will have one hour of on-ice training and 40 minutes of off-ice training provided by GVN Performance. On-ice development will focus on skill, hockey sense and deception. Each day, off-ice with GVN will emphasize a specific type of training (speed, change of direction, nutrition and training presentation and circuit training). All on-ice and off-ice training crafted to translate for both forwards and defense.
