Many Treasures To Be Found Saturday At The Episcopal Church of the Holy Nativity Rummage Sale
Come peruse the many treasures at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Nativity rummage sale Saturday, June 27, in Beverly.
CHICAGO—The Episcopal Church of the Holy Nativity is having a rummage sale Saturday. June 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1917 W. 93rd St., Chicago. You hear of many churches having jumble sales and other fundraisers. Yet, the Church of the Holy Nativity congregants are survivors.
As we see so many churches either consolidate or close, Holy Nativity stays open. Not that they have much funds to work with, yet they make do with the little that they have. The congregation of Holy Nativity is a lay-led congregation.
“When our reverend left in 2022, we had to basically pick up pieces of previous things that were there, and it was pretty difficult at first because none of us knew where to start,” church member Carmen Saenz said.
