Marist Class of 2020 Graduates Sunday In Virtual Ceremony
Follow Marist High School seniors as they graduate in a virtual ceremony on Sunday, May 24.
CHICAGO — Marist High School will hold a virtual commencement ceremony for the Class of 2020 this Sunday, May 24. Brother Hank Hammer, FMS, and school president Larry Tucker ’79 and Father Tom Hurley ’85 will be broadcasting live from Old St. Patrick’s Church starting at 1 p.m.
Graduating seniors are encouraged to don their cap and gown and watch the online ceremony at home with their families near and far. The class valedictorian, salutatorian and student speaker will be part of the live broadcast at Old St. Pat’s, which will include Mass and senior awards.
Earlier this week, seniors and their families took a sentimental ride down memory lane at the school’s “Senior Surprise,” where they enjoyed a “living yearbook.” The Class of 2020 is Marist’s 54th graduating class.
