Mercy Circle Hosts An Evening Of Advent Carols, Lessons And Reflection
Community members are invited to Mercy Circle Wednesday, Dec. 14, for a special Advent program featuring lessons, carols and reflection.

CHICAGO — Enjoy an evening of reflection, prayer, music and fellowship this holiday season with the Lessons and Carols Advent program at Mercy Circle, 3659 West 99th Street in Chicago, on Wednesday, December 14, starting at 6:30pm.
The evening begins in Mercy Chapel where cantor Kitty Ryan and pianist Andy Perz are joined by Caitlin Dorgan on flute, Carolina Campos on violin and Angela Quatrini on oboe. The ensemble will perform Advent carols and hymns to celebrate this festive season. Also, Mercy Circle liturgical coordinator, Avis Clendenen and Father Ed Barrett will share readings, reflections and lessons inspired by the Book of Isaiah.
“We invite the community to join in this season of expectation and hope as we gather to renew our joy in Jesus’ birth,” says Mary Bannon, development director at Mercy Circle.

Immediately following the 45-minute presentation, all guests are invited to enjoy fellowship in the Illinois Room and refreshments compliments of Wolf’s Bakery.
