CHICAGO—Morgan Park Academy will welcome alumni, families, and friends back to campus on Saturday, Sept. 12, for its annual homecoming and reunion celebration, a day filled with opportunities to reconnect, celebrate school traditions, and recognize distinguished alumni.

The event will bring together generations of academy graduates, with special recognition for milestone reunion classes ending in 1 and 6.

Festivities begin at 3 p.m. with check-in in Alumni Hall, followed by guided campus tours and access to the Academy Archives from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the school's historic 20-acre campus and see recent additions, including the Fred and Michele Montgomery Academic Resource Center, the Thrall Family Makerspace, and a cozy, student-run coffee shop in Hansen Hall.

Visitors also can browse the Academy Archives, featuring yearbooks, photographs, athletic memorabilia, publications, and other artifacts highlighting Morgan Park Academy's 153-year history.

At 4:30 p.m., the school will host its Athletic Walk of Fame Ceremony in Jones Bowl, honoring alumni whose accomplishments, leadership, sportsmanship, and service have made a lasting impact on Academy athletics and the broader community.

The evening's Alumni Reception and Reunion Celebration begins at 5:30 p.m. in Jones Bowl and the Pavilion. The event will include a cocktail reception, reunion class photos, dinner, special recognitions, music, dancing, and opportunities for alumni to reconnect with classmates, former faculty members, and friends.

“We look forward to welcoming alumni back to campus to celebrate their enduring connection to Morgan Park Academy,” said Kristy Kotek, Vice President of Advancement and Community Relations. “Homecoming is always a special opportunity to reconnect with old friends, share memories, and see how the Academy continues to grow and evolve.”

Morgan Park Academy is also seeking volunteer reunion chairs to assist with outreach and planning for individual class reunions.

Registration is now open at morganparkacademy.org/alumni. Tickets include a buffet dinner, open bar, and entertainment.
